How do I do it?

Basically, a more or less extended supraumbilical incision is made according to the skin to be removed, the skin and fatty tissue are released from the umbilical scar and up to the costal margin, then it is tightened distally, removing the excess tissue. The skin is sutured distally and the navel is repositioned at an appropriate height.

Time of the Operation

Estimated time: Approximately 2 to 3 hours.
Discharge on the same day of the operation, after anesthetic recovery.

Postoperative:

- It is not painful.
- Elastic girdle for 1 month.
- Stitches: only those in the navel are removed after two weeks, since in the lower abdomen they are intradermal.
- Lymphatic drainage after the first week.

Results of examples applied to the described technique

- Excellent in the indicated cases.
- There are no problems with subsequent pregnancy.
- To maintain results, sudden weight fluctuations must be controlled.
