Lipoabdominoplasty

Lipoabdominoplasty is an advanced cosmetic surgery that combines two procedures in one: liposuction and abdominoplasty. Its objective is to remove excess localized fat and excess skin and tighten the abdominal muscles, achieving a flat, firm, and harmonious abdomen.
This surgery is indicated for people who: Have abdominal sagging and fat accumulation in the abdominal area; Have had pregnancies or significant weight loss; Desire to regain a more youthful and aesthetic abdominal contour; Enjoy good overall health and have realistic expectations.
Unlike traditional abdominoplasty, lipoabdominoplasty includes liposuction in the same procedure, allowing for sculpting not only the abdomen but also adjacent areas such as the flanks and waist. This guarantees a more harmonious and natural result.

Liposuction is a surgical technique that requires a lot of experience. That is why, in this intervention, possibly more than in any other, it is necessary to look for an expert and responsible Plastic Surgeon.

How do I do it?

- Marking of the localized fat deposits with the patient standing.
- Anesthesia can be: local, very small areas (chin, knees, etc.); general or epidural, large areas.
- Small incisions of less than 1 cm are made, which are generally located in places that are not very visible, close to the places to be aspirated.
- Through them, fine cannulas are introduced that suction the fat.

Time of the Operation

Estimated time: Approximately 1 to 3 hours.
Discharge on the same day, after the anesthetic recovery.

Postoperative:

- There is no major discomfort.
- Immediate compression mesh.
- Hematomas (not painful) in operated areas.
- If stitches are used, they are removed after a week.
- Lymphatic drainage after a week.

Results of examples applied to the described technique

- Permanent elimination of localized fat.
- They are better when the patient is younger because the skin is more elastic.
