Liposuction of Abdomen
Abdominal liposuction, also known as abdominal liposuction, is a surgical procedure intended to remove localized fat deposits that disrupt the body's harmony and proportions. This treatment is not a weight-loss method, but rather a body contouring technique that allows for defining and improving the contour of the abdomen.
It is recommended for people with a stable weight who have fat deposits that are resistant to diet and exercise. It is ideal for patients seeking a slimmer and more defined figure in the midsection.
Common areas treated with liposuction: Facial area, Breasts and armpits, Upper limbs, Back, Abdomen, Iliac crest, Glutes, Trochanteric area ("saddlery"), Lower limbs.

Liposuction is a surgical technique that requires a lot of experience. That is why, in this intervention, possibly more than in any other, it is necessary to look for an expert and responsible Plastic Surgeon.
How do I do it?
- Marking of the localized fat deposits with the patient standing.
- Anesthesia can be: local, very small areas (chin, knees, etc.); general or epidural, large areas.
- Small incisions of less than 1 cm are made, which are generally located in places that are not very visible, close to the places to be aspirated.
- Through them, fine cannulas are introduced that suction the fat.
Time of the Operation
Estimated time: Approximately 1 to 3 hours.
Discharge on the same day, after the anesthetic recovery.
Postoperative:
- There is no major discomfort.
- Immediate compression mesh.
- Hematomas (not painful) in operated areas.
- If stitches are used, they are removed after a week.
- Lymphatic drainage after a week.
Results of examples applied to the described technique
- Permanent elimination of localized fat.
- They are better when the patient is younger because the skin is more elastic.
