Lower Eyelid Surgery
Lower blepharoplasty, or lower eyelid surgery, is a cosmetic procedure that corrects under-eye bags, excess skin, and signs of sagging that appear with age.
This area of the face is one of the first to show signs of aging. The skin becomes thinner, muscles lose tone, and fat tends to accumulate, causing a tired, puffy, or aged appearance. This procedure removes or redistributes excess fat and skin, achieving a more youthful, fresh, and natural look.

Wrinkling and sagging of the skin, the presence of “fatty bags” and excess skin, especially on the upper eyelid, are some of the changes caused by aging. These aesthetic defects are hereditary in most cases. That is why we operate on them when they appear, from adolescence to adulthood.
It can be considered as an individual operation or associated, commonly with a facelift, in those patients who also have facial sagging.
