Rhinoseptoplasty

Functional Rhinoseptoplasty or Rhinoseptoplasty is one of the most frequent surgeries performed by the Otorhinolaryngologist when there is an external or laterorenal alteration and an internal alteration of the nose or septal deviation. This deviation is generally the external manifestation of the deviated internal nasal structures that produce insufficient nasal ventilation. These alterations are corrected with an aesthetic-functional surgery called Functional Rhinoseptoplasty.

How do I do it?

Although this surgery can be performed with local or general anesthesia, we suggest general anesthesia, because it is a safe anesthesia and the surgery will be less traumatic for the patient.

Operating Time

Estimated time: 2 hours.

Postoperative:

The patient will be able to return to work in one week. Physical exertion and excessive exposure to the sun should be avoided for at least 1 month. The use of sun protection that provides protection against UVA and UVB rays is recommended.
